Reminds me of Fall 1967 at Ft Huachuca taking a Recon and NCO Leaders course on FT Huachuca mountain looking down at the Army base!
Thanks for the memories!!

M8 and Summarit ... hmmm, not an M11 and APO, yet still looks nice.
No reason why not. I have pictures shot with the DMR and with the M8 that are as good as it gets: sharp, great colors...

Classic Minnesota
We had a cabin at Lake Vermillion for a very long time while living in Iowa and Maryland Bob!
Loved Minnestota's lakes and North Country!
My pups LOVED strolling on trails in the woods!
Great composition Bob!

The Duncan House was built in 1728 in Beaufort, NC. at the end of the golden age of Piracy and these Swashbucklers may very well be the original cast of this beautiful house.
A little less than a mile down the street is Black Beards house. I've been wanting to stop and take a picture of it, but never remember when I visit.

Nice! I'm in the western burbs of Minneapolis but I love the North Shore of Lake Superior. And to bring this full circle, I lived in Maryland for a dozen years in the until '96.

Are these beautiful and vibrant flowers in Namibia?
Beautiful!
Dan
Yeah, they are succulents that grow quite well here along parts of the coastline of Namibia, as well as South Africa.
The succulents are of the genus, Lampranthus.
