Most European and Asian drivers don't have much tolerance for mopeds and such Steve. I was a drag racer in my youth..No turns..just straight!
This is an old photo that I posted last month in another thread here. These reclining statues represent the death of Buddha (parinirvana), the final departure into nothingness. Yet the folds in the robe seem to call back to life.
