AS you exit the tunnel under Westminster Bridge in London you face an incredible view across the River Thames. I of course took an image like all the other people. But the light at the tunnel exit illuminating the photographers is what I found most interesting. Here is an image of a young female photographer deciding how to take the landscape image. Most used their phones, but she had an ICL camera, and a fun pink outfit which I found interesting.
So far I have enjoyed perfect weather for street photography in London. That looks to be changing today as it is a bit cold, windy and overcast today.
I am working on using shadows, objects, reflections, as frames to add depth and interest to my images while here in London. It is a very enjoyable photographic process and I am leaning some things in the effort.
I will be posting some of my fledgling attempts of this over the next few days.
I have to comment. I keep coming back to this shot in admiration. Beautiful exposure and lighting. I wish she had eye contact. Seems like this lens is a gem as well.

Thank you! 😄 I took a few including eye contact and posed shots, they are all great but this really capture the atmosphere. I was blown away by this combo ever since I shoot with it, because this is DNG straight out of camera (just raised the exposure in post)! No editing done to enhance the atmosphere. I shot the same scene same person few months back with Q2 and couldn't achieve the same even trying hard with editing...
