Great question. Honestly, I've been getting good results with the Q2M, but I am finding it a bit limiting on lens choice. Not always, but it has started coming up. My eyes love the EVF, and I do use the macro feature.
BUT, I love the M with the form factor, simplicity and flexibility in glass.
And then there is funding. Life has thrown a few curveballs and that is certainly a consideration/

For me, the Q3 would not be my choice in a small form factor AF camera. First, I do want the ability to change FL and lenses. If I am wanting AF, I want the best, which is not the Q3. I can get a smaller, lighter, better performing camera with the same sensor, and interchangeable lenses in another brand for half price.
I also want the best in my MF camera. Now here for me leica M is the clear leader by a very large margin. The available glass is just amazing, the form factor, ergos, and shooting experience is the best available today.
If you enjoy MF then the upgrade to an M11 system will be a big improvement for you. However, as you have pointed out ther e is significant finacial cost involved.
I appreciate your thoughts Steve. I’m looking at ways to make it happen.
And oh, Q3 not even a consideration. I currently have the Q2M

As has been pointed out, if you are not big on cropping, the M10-M is amazing and should be a straight across swap financially with your Q3.
