This is the last pic I took of Peppers. He passed away yesterday. I am devastated. I found him 14 years ago in a gutter one night in Venice. He had been abused and thrown away. I wasn't sure if he'd survive the night but his broken bones healed with time.
This last year I would drag his furry butt around in that wagon, as he could no longer walk far due to the effect of those long ago injuries coming back with age. He loved the wagon though, and that way he still got to come along. Daisy was just in there for the ride.
I am so glad I constantly photograph those that I love. You can never have too many pics.

Ah, man, thats really tough. I'm sorry to hear the bad news but I'm sure he had the best life after you rescued him. These four legged things really do work their way into our hearts.
