They're kinda humbling ... they're that good (imo).
From my perspective, Huss is a product of the L. A. Beach environment. He is in tune with its mood, activities, and colors. He is doing an amazing job of capturing these things through his photography. I can easily see this work becoming a book, and gallery show some day.
I am a big fan, as I know others here are as well.
The Oasis is a favorite spot for me as the sun begins to set. This is a well known restaurant sitting on the cliff of Lake Travis.
Shot from the hip, Texas style. :-)
As a life long San Diego surfer, I know Rob, he surfed with my kids. Rob is almost 50 years old. These guys were in their late 20s, early 30s is my guess. The guy who looks like Rob is named Morgan. He told me he is a Cannabis delivery driver. LO!
This is definitely not Rob.
I looked while on my phone, and looked some more. Your color image answered it in my mind. Thanks for confirming! It’s been many years since I’ve seen/talked to him. Memory fades.

Beautiful! I have not been there since the Eighties. Probably much changed, especially since, if I remember correctly, a fire, but if it is in the same spot, then would be a most perfect place.
Thanks for stirring the memories section of my brain!
