I spent some time in the far east in the 1970s. The wife and I get down to the Fla Keys usualy once a year. Sometimes a couple of times a year. And usually spend most of the time in Key West. We usually rent a condo right on the Atlantic Ocean.

Hopefully in the latter part of the decade... I think I got the urge to travel out of my system in the service and really not interested in doing it anymore...
Yep, crazy things happen in Key West. No AI needed there. I was actually born there in the Conch Republic at the Naval Hospital. I have my Conch Republic Passport issued before the bogus party ones to prove it. My Father was a Submarine Capitan stationed there at the time.

Thank you for your service....
You were in the sandbox?
Good thing to miss that, but way to many brothers and sisters didn't.
When Desert Shield started up I was coming back to the states to Little Rock AFB after 3 years living in Germany at Sembach AB. and my rotation never came around for the desert. Since most of our squadron was down stream the few of us at the Rock were doing a lot of the missions elsewhere.
