Well observed! This is the owner of the defunct "hand photo lab" in Chiang Mai, who had to give it up after a medical examination revealed incipient cancer that the doctor thought came from exposure to chemicals from hand developing so many rolls of film on a daily basis. The lab was very pleasant: it had a good café visited by many tourists, especially from Korea where a leading magazine had published an article on the lab/café.
Foggy cold day with on and off rain on the Mission Beach Boardwalk. Still, many people out for a stroll with their families. The Seagulls never take a day off.

I could use some of that coolness and fog, right now. (It is a tropical 88 F right now, in my hometown, 50 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico, in SE Texas at 9:20 PM, Central Daylight Time.)

Our weather dynamics here on the coast result in very comfortable temps year round.
In Summer the desert to the East heat up and create a thermal low pressure area. As the hot air rises in draws in the cool air from over the Pacific Ocean whose water in this area comes down from Alaska. In Winter the Ocean stays around 60 degrees warming the air along the coast. A perfect setup that creates the best weather on Earth most years.
