This is what the view was from pretty much every room in the house. It is built up and full of tourists these days.
After being closed all winter the Bogue Inlet Pier on Emerald Isle opened today... Figures it would rain, but at least it helped wash all the pollen away...

It looks like it is making beautifull images. I bet it feels good to have that camera back. I hope it gives you many years of good images going forward.

Thank you so much Steve for your feedback and good wishes.
Considering the many Leica M lenses I still have I had no choice but
to free my M9 from corrosion and occasional vertical lines in images.
It was the right thing to do and I am looking forward to use my M9 system again.
I simply forgot over time how beautiful images the venerable M9 can produce.
No doubt I will have blast using it in parallel with my Sony A1 and Fuji GFX 50S.
I feel that M9 with cover glass replaced (successfully) will have a better value than official Leica replaced ones, which retain a lot of the original vibes. I had one with corroded glass but parted with it, should've kept it and get the glass replaced...
