Steve I don't know if you've ever seen the book Subway by Bruce Davidson but he rode the subway in hte late 70s and early 80s documenting the then very dangerous subway system at that time. He would ride all night and he documented everything that he saw. He was mugged and beaten a couple of times.

Thanks for the link. I very much enjoyed reading about the Subway project. Now would be a great time to do a similar project on out local Trolley system. As far as transportation goes, San Diego like much of Southern California has been such a car and beach culture throughout its history. The Trolley is being expanded greatly, and the culture is being much more urbanized. I am not sure I am pleased with many of the changes that is bring. But there is no denying it is bringing changes. It would be an interesting project to document that.

Yes, only in LTM. Which is fine as I use a Fotodiox LTM-M adapter (pulls up the correct 28mm frame lines) so it pretty much works on anything.
Rangefinder coupled of course.

Of course. I have a plethora of adapters lying around here looking for a host..... That's my excuse to try something new anyways.
Nice images Huss. When I got my M10-P I set it up with an L bracket like I have with all my bigger systems. But the Doctors and I have dialed in my tremor medicine to the point where I can once again shoot mostly hand held. In fact with my Leica, except for sunset and night shots, that is about the only way I shoot it. I think you have inspired me to get a half case for my M10-P. Maybe a Christmas present to myself.

Now to decide which one....
Camerawest.com has them used for cheap. New I think they are $300. I picked mine up used from them for $90. Because it had 'wear' marks. Which of course it would if you use it! Plus it has a rear LCD protector which you can remove if you don't want it. Highly recommended.

I went for a walk out to the end of Crystal pier in pacific Beach late this afternoon. I struck up a conversation with this young lady with a Pirate vibe going on. She said she was not in costume but dressed that way often.
While talking I noticed her shadow on this wall with an old door in it. We came up with the image below just for fun. She then posed for a quick portrait.
Interesting thing is that when people see the old fashioned, none threatening look of the Leica they like it, and are often very happy to have their pictures taken by it. It is an added bonus with the Leica cameras I think.

Yup. Try going out n about with a modern looking camera with big 'kit' lens like a 24-120. People often feel intimidated/threatened if you take pics of them with that. It's 'too much'.
Swap that out for a more compact, old/retro looking camera. Things open up.
Funny thing is, when I use my Rolleiflex people want their pics taken! Even if I had no intention of photographing them.
