True - wish Leica would still make this kind of series with the M10 (like a M-E 10). But it likely won't fit into the agenda of pushing it as luxury brand focus anymore....
It could be that Leica considers the abundant secondhand M digital camera market as a factor against a lower priced 'entry level' digital M. It was somewhat of a different situation in ~2012 when the M9 was the only FF option and there was arguably still life left in it, despite being replaced by the M240. The M240 also had a long backorder period when it was released, which gave the M-E added value as a stop-gap.
Now there are the M240 and M10 variants available as alternatives to the M11. That said, it would be nice for Leica to offer something at a lower price point for those who prefer to buy new.

That’s why I bought the M-E, was ready to enter the Leica world as the M9 was phased out and no way I was going to see the M240 for a year or so as was not aware of waiting lists back then. I’ve been photographing with my M-E since end of 2012.

Looks good. So how did you like the shooting experience.
Save for the minimum shooting distance limitation I loved it. My instinct when I saw that bible sitting on the wall was to get closer to it... but... I also like it from further away and it may be a better storytelling distance.
I recently got an SL2-s and just yesterday purchased a Mono M9 to complement it... I'm very excited to use that camera!
Yesterday was our Monthly Family Party where we celebrate all events like Birthdays Anniversaries etc. that fall within that Month. Always a huge turnout, and a great time.
I couldn't play in the whiffle ball game this time because of my legs. but good to see everyone including all of the ex-Wives who always attend. Nice to be doted over by all of the exes and the current one.
On my side, we celebrated my youngest granddaughter's 4th Birthday.
This picture is of my Niece's Wife and their first baby Lucy, the newest member of our family. Lucy clearly adores her Mother.
Big families are a gift. If you are so blessed, be sure to enjoy them...
