It's been cold this week, the marsh nearby is nicely frozen and tonight it'll be between -15 to -20˚C, so will head back out to the ice to see the action over the weekend. The ice did complain and crack a few times when I walked across... slightly unnerving. But I didn't see any of the skaters fall through and some of them were really pounding it.

Have you tried to 6-bit code it? I have tried and the problem I found was one of the screws for the mount plate is right where the code goes.
That's interesting. Just had a look at mine and no screw where the code goes. Did you buy it new or used? If used, how old is it? I bought mine used about 11 years ago, serial # 158423xx.

Seems I am on my 2nd Honeymoon with the M9M. The M246 and M10M are starting to feel neglected. I am enjoying going back to the basics of rangefinder shooting.

Some random photos from me. Some were taken with Voigtlander 50mm 1.2 and others taken with the 35mm zeiss 1.4, the exif shows 50mm 1.2 for all of them but the one with the water gun is the only shot with 35 1.4 zeiss
