Watching the French Moto GP from Le Mans this evening (Australia time), my 'quality sensors' noticed a media photographer using a Leica SL to capture Valentino Rossi on the grid!
A tourist-type shot from Heidelberg. A second test strip for me to find suitable exposure & processing parameters for 3 rolls of bulk film (Isopan ISS) I was given. The film expired a couple of years before I was born.
Leica M3, Dual-Range Summicron, f8. I really enjoy the quiet, simple operation - though it is sometimes rather tricky to see the rangefinder patch.
The picture below was taken some years ago on Tri-X with the M6 and the Summilux-50 pre-ASPH at f/1.4. It is a part of my Alone in Bangkok portfolio, which has just been published on David Alan Harvey's BURN Magazine website — you can see the portfolio here.

I had one for a little while, I loved the image quality, no complaints there, but I wound up hardly using it because of its size. It's not that it's too big to use, but I prefer my rangefinder lenses on the smaller side.
I'm considering a 21mm SA currently as I like the characteristics of that lens, though more modern options are technically superior.
