I've been tempted to try c1 with the x1 but a lot of things put me off about it. Is it really worth the dodgy , slow, limited functionality vs lightroom? Damn I was just getting comfortable with the intro of lr3?
Oh and it's quite expensive comparatively. Anyone using it with the x1?
Edward, C1 is very simple, not cheap. Basically you can use C1 on many different levels, quickly output to whatever program you wish to use for PP. So in this respect it is excellent for ridding of any colour cast, for a lens/M setup.
I hope so too. I've been trying to buy a 46mm B&W MRC ND 0.6 filter over the weekend but they seem to be sold out everywhere and will take 4-6 weeks at least. Was told by one dealer that B&W's factory was closed for a month in Aug. Must be all you 35 & 50 Lux users snapping them up!
Having recently acquired a M8, I am trying to understand the real limitations (in my hands) of a RF camera.
So far, I still struggle w/ fast glass (does anybody get consistently sharp shots at f/1.4?). Hope it will improve with time, because shooting stopped down on a 1.3x crop is no fun .
It's a picture thread, so here is one, taken at CDG airport (A380 gate). Elmarit 28 ASPH. at f/2.8.
I have attached some shots from before taken in Thailand converted RAW in C1 Pro. Please view in FF, as I am still sorting out colour management between programs. Thanks
Oops it would appear not, but it doesn't posterise like Firefox. Hmm I could have sworn it was, but oh well.. I have a conversion to sRGB in my workflow for web anyway.
