28 cron, above. It was alot of fun to shoot, and gave me a real front row seat. The M9/A7.mod combo, with a strong lenset of primes really worked very well: of course I was not under the constraint of "must gets". Here I had the cron on the M9 and a very light tamron 54b 300 on the A7, which gave me quite a range, and the tamron is also a macro I had quite a few comments on what "cool cameras" I had from people of all ages. My Pelle case not only makes the A7 look interesting, but it probably saved the camera at one point. The body managed to unmount from my big 300/2.8 nikkor, which had the strap, and fall 3 feet on to very hard pack snow, ice really, which filled the sensor with crystals and ejected the memory card (but was held close by the case) The M9 had to take over completely that afternoon
It seems that analog M pictures are Ok here too. Had my M3 lying around with a roll of Fomapan 100 that has been in there for nearly a year. So today I went out to use up the remaining captures, develop and scan (or rather photograph) with my A7 and Micro-Nikkor 50 3.5@ 5.6. Third roll of film I put through this camera, and first roll that I'm happy with most of the captures. It is a bit of a learning curve being new to range-finder, working without an exposure meter and developing.
We finally got a break in the weather this afternoon after several days of heavy rains. This is Western Lake, one of fifteen coastal dune lakes along twenty-six miles of coastline in Walton County, Florida. The Gulf of Mexico is just beyond the sand dunes you see along the horizon.
The M9 had to take over completely that afternoon
