Nicoimages - Dude. Those are some fantastic images with the Q. I so badly want to get one of those to be perfectly honest, it is genuinely the only recently launched digital camera that really excited me. I'm still super happy with the quality I get from the RIcoh GR as a fixed lens camera fortunately so it keeps me from trying to come up with the money to drop on a Q!
Anyways, fantastic set sir.
Thank you for your comment! I also have the RicohGR and it is a fantastic camera and I have it with me all the time. The image quality is hard to beat for an APS-C sensor. The Leica Q is not as portable but still a lot easier to carry around than a DSLR.
A few pics from the RicohGR are here for comparison
Winter's last hurrah? Day after an ice storm hit Southern Ontario. Day of the storm I was shooting a wedding. Unfortunately it was mostly inside (due to the weather/rain/temperature).
Some of the aftermath...
M240 & 50 Lux ASPH except #3 & 5 with CV35/1.7 M and last one with 28 Cron v1
Sorry if some of these are a bit crunchy!
I guess luckily there wasn't much wind, mostly cloudy and just cold enough that the ice survived through most of Friday near where I live for me to get some photos. As soon as the sun broke through momentarily, ice was shattering everywhere. Kind of cool. While I was in the forest area, whenever the wind picked up just a bit or the sun broke through, ice would rain down from the branches. Should have brought a hard hat! I wasn't thinking. Oh, and the trail was very slippery and at the edge of a ~100 foot drop. By later in the afternoon the ground cover had softened up and wasn't quite as potentially treacherous.
