I love that actual prints were shown and shared there!
Yes, they have several members who only like to show that way. I was trying to get the point across that showing on big screen TVs which they often do, is a real travesty, but the 5K iMac is near the level of decent prints, though of course it is not the same and color gamut is reduced. For pure resolution only a really fantastic print can match it.

SL Edward? Have I completely missed this or is it breaking news?
If so are you replacing the M 240 or wil you be using both?
Actually I just bought it this morning, body only to use with my ZM lenses. I plan to sell the M to be honest. It hasn't inspired me much recently, and now that I realized that I can nail the focus consistently with the huge viewfinder even without peaking (it's off) and magnification, with much better framing (of course), I am convinced it will be the right decision.
Congratulations on the purchase then and I'll be looking forward to seeing your photos with the SL And also to hear more about your experience with the EVF vs the RF.

Edward, big congratulation! Look forward to see more images from you. How you compare the file quality to M240?
Thank you Zhangyue! My first impression is that it is quite comparable. Maybe 1 stop or 2 better in high ISO. Color similar but slightly less saturated by default. I will definitely let you know when I have more experience with it.
Wow - great news Edward! Congrats! I hope you gel with it and it is as enjoyable as the M240 was for you. I haven't been using my M240 much lately - mainly due to being so busy. I took it out at lunch today for a short 20min walk around downtown. I only brought the 50lux to try something different. Looking at some of my pics, the 50lux really does have some special rendering - particularly wide open. A few snaps.
Thank you Gary! Very nice rendering from the 50 lux! I am really liking the SL. My only complaint so far is the size. It doesn't fit in any of my M bags, so I need to go shopping for a new one soon The finish quality is superb, S level rather than M.
