Now, if that were my A7r2, and I had your lenses, I would take this time and send it to Kolari. I think it might well out shoot the 240 with M glass after that. And you forget about sorting the copies of E-mount glass to get a good one AF is a disadvantage in landscape anyway, and the MF Batis are kinda big.

Edward, I had a little help with some nice folks over in the Alt Film Thread. They pointed me to an alternate scanning software and color negative plugin to help me in my quest in self scanning and PP'ing color negatives.
I decided to give my original shot an honest work over. The previous shot posted was from the local camera store (scan) and this one (my scan & PP) has much less grain aliasing as you noted in my original post.
My apologies for a "double post", but I wanted to see and share what could be done compared to the local camera shop scan. The colors here are much much closer to what I saw when I was there and the photo doesn't look like a blown up jpg thumbnail.
Been quite a while since I last posted here (by my recent standards anyway). Been coming by to read about the thoughts on the SL, RX1r II and M 262. Such a flurry of new cameras lately.
