You should just buy it! I mean, what if you come across a situation where you need the speed of a faster lens? Haha - just kidding. In all honesty, the lens has been glued to my M240 for about a month now. It has the best of everything if you ask me. Yummy Zeiss output and performance second to none. My only complaint is that it is fairly big (but not overly heavy).

I had it for a week before selling it off. I would have kept it but I have the 35FLE.
To be honest, other then the Leica colors vs Zeiss colors. I can think of a lot of situations where I might want the 35/1.4ZM over the 35FLE.
It's not to say that the 35ZM-C isn't awesome, it is.. And I'd consider it and the 35/2ZM over the 35Cron. Especially considering price difference
well, it turns out the rear element of my lens was incredibly dirty, It looked almost like somebody had spilled some liquid on it. Cleaned that, gave the sensor a gentle clean as well, and now things look significantly better in terms of highlights. Contrast is up too, so yes now I agree with your findings re contrast on the biogon (excuse the backyard photo)
It never crossed my mind to clean the lens when I bought it, because it was new!

Though my sampling of Canon RF lenses has been small, they generally seem to have a very good reputation. The 100/2 is one I've been curious about, too... but have been content with my Nikkor 105/2.5 LTM.
Whatever possessed me to think that I could live without an M? I bought the Q, sold the M, but then found that I missed the Rangefinder experience and the overall handling of the M, and I bought another. More than likely I will keep the Q as a supplement to the M, because there are occasions when autofocus is nice to have, but if I had to choose one over the other, I would definitely choose the M.

Welcome back to RF relms, sounds like a lesson quickly learnt! I swopped my M9 for MP240, so I can use the same camera for tripod seascapes, but I'm filled with regret at seeing the M9 go (though resolute in the decision.)
Great set as well, the 4th in particular is fantastic.
A few wandering with 50 Lux, I followed the ballerina for a couple of blocks! I couldn't believe my luck at such a photogenic subject wandering past. Wished I'd had the courage to approach her for a portrait, maybe next time.

Thank you for the kind works, coogee. The guy in the 4th shot was not too pleased about having his picture taken, but there was no way I could let those shoes get past me without a shot.
I, too, had mixed feelings about selling my M9, which I did shortly after purchasing the M240, but I have no regrets over the decision now after shooting with the 240 for the better part of a year.
