I've been lurking.. Seeing a lot of great pictures from everyone. I've been shooting a fair bit, but have been so stressed out about house renovations that I'm not in the mood to edit.
Also just purchased another S lens, and it somewhat broke in shipping (despite the fact that it was packed very well). So trying to work that out with the seller. And am also thinking about adding a 45 Elmarit-S to my setup, but haven't seen a lot of samples to get an idea if it's worth the price.. Considering how many 35mm lenses I have for the M system
From today with the 50 planar. It's amazing how little IR filtration the M240 does. A persistent probem since the M8 due to the thin sensor cover. The lady's shirt is black.
Adam, I just read David Farkas's S007 review and trip report. He shot a fair amount with the 45S... I thought it looked really nice, as did the other lenses. In fact, kind of makes me want to get an S system, ignoring the price and size.
Edward - great look from the Planar! Definitely agree about IR contamination in black fabrics. Wondering if it would be worth using an IR cut filter at times...

A few random Toronto shots..
M240 90AA, 28 Cron, 50 Lux ASPH.
Nice shots Ron. Makes me miss Toronto.
I seen his review. And trip post. Nice shots, but most of them are not wide open. And ideally I'd want to see more samples wide open. A large majority of the time, I'm trying to hide bad backgrounds due to the nature of wedding photography.
The 100 Summicron-S does this a little to well I might add
