Coogee - particularly like the first two of the couples set. 500 photos isn't too bad of a backlog; I'd guess I have tens of thousands. I'd rather not know precisely. I agree there is some merit to letting images 'stew' for a while before returning to them with fresh eyes.

I recently acquired Gary's 180/3.4 APO-Telyt (thanks Gary!) and have been incorporating it in my M240 kit at times, resulting in a 21/28/50/90/180 spacing. Works pretty well, though wish it was a smaller lens. The CV180/4 sounds intriguing for this very reason - there's always something else to buy, isn't there!?

I don't think I've yet 'debuted' any work with it here...

Beautiful color Ron and congrats on your new lens! It is a bit big on the M240 but the results are very good. I also have a LOT of photo backlog which I plan to get around to when I retire in 15yrs.

! And I was feeling under pressure with 500! 'When I retire' gave me a laugh this morning Gary!! There's more than a few things on that list I'd wager!

Nice shots with the 180 APO Ron. I have one too but use it with my Leica-R/Sony A7r setup. It's about as big as I'm prepared to go with a lens but still very easily to handhold down at the beach (and not silly conspicuous.)
I've considered adding a 2x APO Teleconverter for it one day (for 360/6.8) but super telephoto isn't really my thing in general and the 2x costs far too much for how often I'd use it. Maybe one for my 'when i retire' list.

I am enjoying your workshop images Werner, lovely clean white lines everywhere, and I like the one above joakim.

The rest of the couples.

I know some of you guys don't like backlogs but I wish I had some . Working on some presets using old files shot with the M and M8. You guys can probably guess which one is which from the rendering.

MM and 35 Lux FLE wide open. Shot 30 min ago.
I always hear how bad the bokeh is from this lens and though it is not a 200 2L I haven't seen it. I think it's really good for a 35mm lens. Much better than most I have used.

Allen..very inspiring to me as an aspiring street photographer! esp 1, 3 and 6. But I'm learning from everyone in this thread as a whole, giving more thought to composition and light.

Gary, what a sunrise!

Side note, I know it's probably GAS, but I'm considering selling my 28 for a 35. I find myself selecting a 50 or a 90 over 28 more often because my phone is 28 equivalent. I know it's not the same, but when I'm doing streets (or otherwise) it's always handy to have 2 focal lengths. I also tend to crop the 28 to a 35esque FOV. The only thing holding me back is the fact I haven't actually used the 28cron to death. Don't want a situation like I did with my 80lux that I regret selling the lens because I didn't feel like i got the most out of it. Hoping someone can talk me out of this..

Chas, if I had to choose only 2 lenses to work with, they would be 35 and 50. Wider and longer lenses see much less action on a rangefinder, especially for street. For landscapes though, a 28 is much more useful than a 35. But I believe for street shooting the 35 is the better option. Just my personal opinion.
