The SEM is a true battlefield lens. Meaning it seems to handle nearly any light and pull something special away. My glass often getting dusty, and you can see in the second shot, I've neglected to clean it, but just in those rays. Resolution is just crazy at every aperture. F/11 is outstanding too. On of Puts' three favorite lenses; I can start to really see why.
He has the 135/3.4 down as one of the very very sharpest Leica lenses, and finnaly I'm starting to learn it. In that shot I was worried I'd have the lake but trees in front would be fuzz. I went to f/8, and I seem to have hit it, with the focus falling off just beyond the lake. On each ride, I look hard at the big 135. Should I take it? But it always seems to deliver some interesting take on the scenery.
Joakim I assume that shot above was taken through the fog? I like the feel.

Well, realized I needed a hood for my Canon 50/1,4 so was online looking for one. The thread is 48mm so a bit of an oddball. Figured I'd go through the "stuff" drawer to see if I had any step up rings or something sitting around I could use, when I came upon a hood that looked kind of, well, like it might actually be possible to fit to it… tried it on and the damn thing fit like a glove. Turns out the Canon T-50-2 hood that comes with the FL 135/3,5 (got one in a package deal a long time ago) is also for…. yes, the 50/1,4 LTM lens. Go figure.
