You can always stitch frames. While I haven't tried it, I think the new version of LR now supports this internally? I'm still on LR5.
Since you're keeping the SEM, the CV15 vIII might make more sense in respect to lens spacing, though TBH, I rarely use mine. Probably less than 5% of the number of frames I shoot with the SEM. At least for me, 21mm is the wide end of what I most commonly shoot. The 12/5.6 LTM version might be a better option since it's way smaller and has less edge color shift problem than the earlier versions of the 15mm. It's small enough that you can just cram it in a corner of the bag 'just in case', whereas the new 15 is about the size of the ZM18.
If it's a question of reducing lens quantity, then the WATE might be the UWA solution, even if it's bigger than any one of the prime options. A bit pricey though.

Yeah, I don't think I would ever buy a WATE but never say never.... I love my 21SEM and am just going to use my kit as is and see what FL I feel I am missing. I will *try* to resist any new lens purchases for a while though.

Shot #2 was of a loud group of ladies I stumbled upon. They were unloading these stuffed items from their truck and I struck up a conversation with them. Apparently it is their annual "Weekend at Bernies" getaway to the Oregon coast. They take these stuffed figures with them everywhere during the weekend.... Shot #3 was this super crazy lady (I think) that was cruising down the middle of the streets, weaving around, and singing. She was having a great time and attracting a lot of attention.

Haven't been photographing for awhile. I still have pictures and videos on my memory cards form early August still in the cameras. An ill-fated attempt at upgrading Windows from 7 to 10 caused a rollback and of course that failed. Though in many ways that was a good thing. Reorganized my data drives to have Video, Photo and Audio separated. The windows reinstall almost complete a couple of minor issues to resolve and then start the Mac cleanup. The joys of running a dual boot Mac. Just in time to return to classes next week. So far just enrolled in video editing courses. Keep posting your images I will need a diversion every once and awhile to see what I am missing.

More from the wedding (sorry if this is a bit much), exploring backlit performance of the new CV35/1.7... all wide open on the M240:
As you can see, there is some odd flare pulling down from the sun when it's placed towards the top of the frame. It almost looks like the weird 'tearing' that would occur when a CCD sensor would be overwhelmed by an extremely bright object in the image, which I last experienced with my Canon 1D over 10 years ago... But here it's quite soft edged, whereas the CCD tearing was very hard and jagged.
The last image above is a typical example of what happens when a bright object is just outside the frame. Not that I don't like some of this flare effect. I prefer it over wild blobs of color (which become more problematic as the lens is stopped down).

Nah, I remembered it wrong. These are not close to the edge and more provoked by sharp edges. First with 24 Summilux and second with 24 Elmar, both on the M9
Joakim - thanks for digging up those examples. It's exactly the same as what I got with the Canon 1D back then. I wonder if the strange effect with the M240 and 35/1.7 flare is sensor or lens related...
I recall shooting some sun-in-frame images with the ZM21/2.8... I'd have to go back to the out takes from that day to see if I also got the tearing. I think I did, but found that if I stopped down enough, it didn't happen... like probably to f/16. It's probably related to how intense the light is, thus overloading the circuitry.

I'm the same. A WATE would probably be more sensible but, hell, there is no way I'm ever giving up the 21SEM! Unfortunately I haven't 'been there' in the last few weeks to 'just point it' as Charlie has. Those are some wonderful shots of last light falling on the hills, especially the top of this page.

These are from a walk around a local area of new (seemingly) uncontrolled high-rise apartment developments.
I liked the way the new development just stops at the edge of this major freeway into Sydney, the bench thoughtlessly placed to enjoy the roar (and smell) of 8 lanes of traffic.

A normal backcountry bike, aka "enduro" is 100lbs heavier and very clumsy in the rough. One tree across the trail in a critical spot, if you are alone, and it's turn around or take a big risk. On this bike, which I bought in 2007, I have never been stopped on a planned route. Alone, Charlie, are you crazy? I use a SPOT, which tracks me real time and can send messages, where there is no cell service. Riding wiith friends, the unexpected, is more common, as you tend to think about the other riders rather than a simple relaxed focus. You feel safer with other people, but really it's unlikely you are, but alone you know: don't screw up.
Stock, like the A7 cameras and the great lenses, a GasGas 300 pro is not suitable to this task. But many mods later she really does the job, though not without quirks....just like the Sonys
