Katie, let me quote Erwin Puts on using a leica with good lenses: "The sparkling clarity of the finest details, rendered crisply and finely graduated with excellent color neutrality is an everlasting joy and quite addictive: once you noticed it, you will not settle for less." For shooting old SLR glass the best option at the moment is to get a used A7 for 700 and send it to Kolari to have the thick glass peeled off and a thin cover put over the sensor, that's 400. For 1100 you will have probably the best, and certainly the most versatile legacy glass shooter on earth. Much better than any unmodified A7, including the latest. Also not bad with M lenses

Joakim, the last set is really outstanding. It's a very interesting contrast to Allen's set, which is also quite good, because the PP or lack of, is near identical, but you are shooting at fast apertures in exquisite light, and Allen is, as usual, in full on battlefield street shooter zone focus mode. I love it

I was playing around with the Q the other day at the local camera store and thought it was quite impressive. Love the simplicity, ergonomics, and layout. I think they designed this one very well. Focusing seemed very snappy and the lens felt good in MF mode as well. Maybe time to start saving up.....
Edward, really liked the last pic and the first of the latest 2 sets. Speaking of exact spots, I was looking through older pages in this thread and remembered the exact spots you shot some pictures at (in the South of France?) sometime back. I was there in December and was shooting with my RX1. Indeed, as Gary put, it is a strange funny feeling.
