This amuses me Edward because today we went to a favourite Thai-Malaysian restaurant for lunch!
My photo - I was using my CV21/4 on my M9 but I believe I forgot to change the coding, so the camera thought it was a 50 Summilux. I don't usually process in LR but that's what was used here.
Despite loading the CV21/4 profile a magenta cast remains at the bottom of the image.
M9 with CV21/4, although I think I had it set as a 50/1.4 unfortunately.
The lens profiles in LR don't do anything to color shading, David. You can either remove it with cornerfix or the dedicated LR plugin. I normally don't bother with it, I either crop it out or convert it to b/w.
Destin, Florida claims to be the "World's luckiest fishing village," which may explain why it has the largest fishing fleet of any harbor in the State of Florida. It is also fertile ground for photography; I can always count on finding some real characters there waiting to board one of the boats for a day of fishing in the Gulf. Today was no exception. (All shot with the M246 and AA Cron 50)
Finally picked up a 50lux asph
Had been shooting my M with the 80lux. I think these were jpegs shot on medium high saturation and contrast and tweaked slightly in LR..haven't gone about shooting DNG yet. After those shots I reverted back to standard saturation and contrast (didn't like the output)

I think these were from Friday, but i've family living nearby so I'll often be roaming about there when I visit.
(Side note I think if I saw the Q in person it would reinvigorate my currently quelled gear lust. I've yet to see "live" and hold one...have to steer clear)

Welcome to the Leica thread. I agree with your comments about saturation; however, this is coming from one who primarily shoots B&W. You will likely find that shooting in raw format and processing in Lightroom will give you much more control over determining the look that suits you best.
