Edward, that bag looks interesting. I've been interested in getting some kind of minimalistic bag for only the essentials like the camera with an attached plus one extra lens and some small accessories like a battery , a filter etc.

That would be exactly what you're looking for Joakim. Also the finishing is superb, top quality. I've been taking this one to work everyday since I got it, with my M and one lens mounted, and sometimes with one extra lens (that I never use )

Allen - love the art exhibit one!
Philippe - great feel and composition in the last couple.
Werner - for me the figure and so many lines feels very harmonious. It's almost as if she's wearing urban camouflage.
Robert - it appears you're using the 21/2.8 non-ASPH lens code setting with the ZM15, but am I right in seeing in the beach entrance structure image (which looks quite dramatic with the 15) has some slight edge color shift? Do you find the lens a bit problematic for use in color? For the B&W images in the last set, do you remember focusing distance? I would guess near infinity as the near distance content seems quite soft. I wonder if somewhat closer focus would have been more appropriate?

Great series.

Hi Ron,

Most of my experience with the ZM15 in the short time I have owned it has been with it attached to the M246, but you are right, on the M240 there exists edge color shift that is very much evident in the shot to which you refer, and it is not due to post processing; it's there in the raw file. Actually, it;s there in all of the color shots I took yesterday morning, as I look more closely at them. This is something that I will definitely monitor.

I totally understand your comment about my choice of focal points, which was probably near infinity for the last set of B&W images. In each of those shots I chose to focus on objects in the distance, e.g., the tower, the man with the baby, and the beach walker, knowing that I would suffer the loss of sharpness in the foreground, which was largely sand. Who would notice, right?

Thank you for your observations and comments.

Best regards,
Robert (relms)

Werner, Wow! Excellent shot (Stars and Stripes). Reminds me of a Ray Scott country song from couple of years back: "Baby, How Did You Get in Those Jeans?" Did you add grain in post?
Ron, great shots of structures along S Grand.
Alan, nice series of shots.

Been away for a few days and so much nice work has been posted!

Allen - you've been producing the goods once again! That pic near the bottom or 1202 with the guys palm pressed up against the window is superb - in a creepy sorta way.
Werner - really nice work!
Ron - your city abstracts are always so good and processed perfectly.
Edward - don't you go getting that new bag dirty! Looks to be the perfect size for an M and quite classy.
LZ - great to see some more of your pics over here! I have spent a lot of time in Lyon (and Grenoble) over the years and love the area and people so much. I will return with my family in the next few years.
Charlie - looks like you are getting out in the woods a lot lately! Nice pics.
