Air - Nice job, nicely balanced out and love the shadow from the building overhang.

Couple of interesting discoveries today. On My Apple (Latest Yosemite) I find that this morning when viewing thumbnails in the Finder the thumbnails although showing the image after a minute or so the thumbnail turned black. Could be related to the warning from Leica with Apple's Photos application. The images are fine and Nikon's Viewer and Capture One show them just fine. I also notice in Capture One the EXIF information for the aperture setting is incorrectly reported.
Last night was a shooting night in Portraiture class. Although shooting in color with my Canon I also brought my Monochrom classic to see if it was compatible our instructor's lighting system and his triggers. All shot at 1/180 F8 ISO 800 with a 3 stop ND
I have never tried out the Elmarit but hear the latest version is very good. I bought a 90 Summarit from Ron and have been super impressed with the performance. It is small, light, and super sharp from WO onwards. If you can deal with something slower (and non-Leica) the CV90/3.5 is real good as well...
Gary she is in the 1st and 3rd shots. The one with the Cowboy Hat is a friend of Patrick's sister in law. They were modelling a line of cowboy hats. We had 5 models last night. Next week will be lo-key lighting.
I had a bit of a chuckle. When it was my turn to shoot Breana she went to switch jackets as she wanted to give a different look but I asked her to put it back on as my first shots were with the Monochrom classic and the leopard style jacket really fit B&W(not posted). After a couple of shots I let her make the change. Had 3 opportunities to shoot her and 3 with the other four models.

Hmm... I had the 90 Summarit for a week! At the time I found the 75 Summarit to be more "ideal" for what I wanted to shoot, so it wasn't missed. These days I don't really like taking out the 75APO or 90APO. And I'll be minimising my M lineup soon. So I wanted to give a few lenses a try that i've never used (you know, buy a bunch before selling everything off, seems legit). Perhaps I'll test the 2.4 Summarit 90. It has a bit closer focusing then most other 90mm out there.
It's just that the 90 Elmarit has always escaped me. The tele-Elmarit was ok, but lacked bite and flared 70% of the time (I don't use hoods, unless they're pull out style). The pre-APO Summicron is as big as the 90APO, so I don't even wanna bother with it. So I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and buy one.
I'm trying to pair down to three lenses 35/50/90 (figuring out now which ones I want, the 50APO is of course staying).

Here are a couple from tonight (246). Didn't use a Leica lens, or a Zeiss or a Voitlander.
Shot with the Canon FD 35-105. I picked up adapters for various lens mounts. Interestingly I put my dear old Canon F1 next to the 246 and they are about the same size.
