I've passed on 3 M246 cameras already.. All my dealers have been calling me.
I refuse to pay the inflated prices where I am right now. Going to wait till my overseas dealer calls me, save myself $3,000
But I think I have decided to buy it. As I've seen quite a few really good high ISO samples from my friends M246. AND it's matte finish like the 50lux black chrom edition (which I also keep getting offered, but don't buy due to inflated pricing).
Unfortunately Singapore is responsible for distribution in Southeast Asia, so the prices are inflated in Thailand as well. The M240 is still selling for 9000$ U.S. approximately, to give you an idea.

Adam, are you saying it is hard to sell Leica gear these days in Singapore due to very high prices?
No, the cameras have sold I'm sure. I just don't want to spend the extra money to be the first kid on the block anymore. It's not worth it for me, especially with the monochrom seeing how I won't really use it for work.. But I'm eagerly anticipating everyone's photos with the M246 (as I'm sure a good majority will buy one).
I'm watching live-streaming of a major international motorcycle road-race from my birthplace, Northern Ireland. Some delays due weather and crashes, so it's past 4am here!!! Between races, so a quick browse and post
Fantastic images on here as usual.
A couple that will be printed on canvas for my wfe's office
^ Great stuff, love the composition of the bridge.
I was up and out at 5am for dawn seascape action (so was fast asleep for your post), and it ended up being a heavy rain dawn yet again - damn weather forecast!
These are from a sunnier day.. both m9 and the superb 21SEM
Ha ha Richard - that Darwinian-enhanced-speed Indian Mynah bird makes me chuckle! When added to the signage it makes for a great comical picture. Agreed, the 21 SEM looks fantastic. It's easy to check corner performance in your first striking image.
Lots of pop from that Sonnar Edward . Looking forward to some pics from your new MM burningheart. Sorry I don't have any new pics, I've been shooting a different system. Some black and white fun with the print module, they're all taken with the m8 and 21sem
