Thanks everyone! I have much to catch up on ... so you guys could make it easy on me and post very brief summaries of what you've been up to! What's everyone working on/with these days?
Had a brief play with my friends M246. Its a pre production model so the firmware is out of date and is probably better now. I have not used the previous monochrom but the files looks very good for anyone who's a fan of black and whites. There are slight difference in tones compared to a normal M and this could be the edge that some people are looking for. The camera feels solid just like the M, IQ wise it's probably not a huge leap from the previous mono but there are some key advantages like weather sealing, better ISO, quieter shutter and much better battery life. I've attached some samples below.

That's easy for me: not much. It's been a slow spring so far when it comes to photography, my work has interfered way to much this year
Here's one from me in the studio with a top mix guy (middle) at his studio - sorry most of my 'stuff' is taken in this area, it's what I know. Just as well I'm not a surgeon

PS. Smug mug when linked this way looks really mushy, the image is razor sharp.
Well, I'm glad to be back ... and looking at all your images again!
Rene and Werner - WOW, superb B&W images. Love those!
Uhoh - yes, finally got my camera back from Leica NJ. Never even used the loaner they sent really. I got busy with other things and had to do lots of shoots with my DSLR (which I have been using lots since starting back to work). But once I got my baby M-E back and threw my 35 on, I knew I would be using it happily again! I love it. They made it BRAND NEW.
recordproduction - I am drawn to the shoes in the first shot - don't know why, but it's all I can see! Love the 50 LUX. Sad I had to say goodbye to mine.
Here are a shots with the kids to test camera settings with my window light. I rented a new studio space and am remodeling it. I pulled up the carpet and have redone the hardwoods. I'm now installing new window treatments and moving all my stuff in. Gives me a nice place to go this summer with the kids (we can walk there, it's downtown next to the wine bar and coffee shop - BONUS!!!)
