I have occasionally had this too. Like you, I thought that the file may be corrupt but no, all is good. It's normally when zooming in more than two steps and even if I go back to normal, go to another image and then come back I get the same thing. It just happens every so often so I'm not bothered...

Hey Vern, congrats! My 4-0 gift to myself was an M9... As you can guess, I'm a few years ahead of you. Oh, and part of the goal at the time was to reduce the size of my equipment set. It also successfully reduced my cash reserves. So watch what you're getting into. But I agree, great glass and can't beat the size and ergonomics. That's one area where IMO it's still ahead of a modded a7 series camera. Oh, and easy RF focusing.

Gary. congrats on the Summarit, which I settled on after trying a number of 90s. I still sometimes use my CV90/3.5 because it's even smaller and lighter, but the 90 Summarit is a spectacular and very unique lens, I think. It's performance at f/2.5 is jaw dropping. They can be found for a good price also (unfortunately less than I paid )
