Really? It's supposed to be like that? Very unique! I've never seen a statue with fabric before! Thx for sharing, great subject matter and technique.
Yep, many Buddha statues that I've seen in Thailand are clothed this way.
Just getting caught up after a short one week vacation for some sun and relaxation. I wanted to comment that the work on the last few pages is so good. The thing I like about this thread is the varied subject matter (amongst other things). Hoping to get out again for some shooting this week or next... PS - I also recently found out that I won a Fuji X-E2 + lens! Looking forward to giving it a whirl and test out the (allegedly) world famous Fuji JPG's. I'll then decide whether or not to keep it....
Rene, my fav is the courtyard: such light. Excellent.
Edward, so many excellent shots of varied character. Buddha in tree spooky Wonderful.
Adam, wonderfull portrait.
I took quite a drive this weekend, dropping as low as 4000ft:
Thank you very much Charlie for the comments! Good to see the M9 back in action
Very nice, Richard. Very film-like.
Great architechtural study, Werner.
Lovely shots, Rene. First and second are my favorites. Curiously, the starburst in the third shot looks very much like the ones I get with the new distagon.
