René - love what you're getting with the ZM35/2.8! In fact, I have to ask if it's really that lens because it looks longer and faster. I should use mine again and get reacquainted.
Dear Ron. can not guarantee it. However the images are from a series with the ZM35 2.8 and I was very close to the subject. It is an amazing lens. Always amazes me. Thank you for your comment.
so many nice shots up there
Werner, I think you are getting better and better.
@Edward you are killing me with those 35/1.4 shots! that second portrait of the guy sitting on a bike I think is crazy vivid!! Find some little bright lights to ward me off would you?
Many many other wonderful shots up there. Katie, love to see you playing' with the M240. (course you and me know the ME/M9 is the real meow )
Gary, I'm shocked, shocked to hear you wax about the EVF! I feel brutalized by my A7 EVF. It's like purgatory. Focus is brutal. But......I got the email today
My precious M9 is in the mail from NJ 2-day Glory Hallelujah!!
Thank you very much Charlie! Great that you will be getting the M9 back soon! Hope Leica did a perfect job.
I'm sure you'd love the distagon. It's a tad lower macro contrast than the biogon but the brilliance and clarity are incredible. You should try it one day
Yes, I noticed the last couple pages have been quite slow... I've definitely not been posting as frequently.
To continue with B&W... a view from the 'office' window late last month...
M240 & 28 Cron
On an unrelated note.... I'll be traveling a bit in April through early May. Anyone around in the Bonn/Köln area April 10, 12? Amsterdam April 13/14? Taipei second half of April? Tokyo first week of May? It could be just to meet for a couple hours over food/drink, or do a bit of walk-around shooting... My time in Bonn/Amsterdam may be fairly limited for this, but thought I'd throw it out anyway. I've been trying to meet up with others from FM when the opportunity arises, so let me know. Doesn't specifically have to be only those posting in this thread... If you're just stopping by to look from time to time, that's fair too.
One thought was to go to Leica in Wetzlar, perhaps on April 10th, but I won't be renting a car and looks like the train option from Bonn will be ~3 hours each way (not so direct) and over 60 Euro roundtrip at minimum, without IC/ICE. Is it worth the visit? (Edit - looks like I can cut down travel time and cost from Siegburg/Bonn) I know Werner has been there... Any comments/suggestions welcome! An alternative would be to spend that money on a daytrip someplace within a couple hours of Bonn...
