I agree, nothing like live music. Prior to having a young family, I always enjoyed attending concerts at famous venues around the world, London, Paris, Zurich, Sydney, Tokyo, etc but now, I try to make do with two dimensional sound after putting the kids to bed

Some day, I would like to try a nice pair of Wilsons, Magicos or Sonus Fabers, but for now, I'll make do with these Made in Indonesia Revels

Noctis aren't too bad for stereo equipment pics?

I listen to my Tidal Audio Piano's w. Bryston amps. I'd rather buy expensive Leica gear right now than buy a Pass Labs 60.8 class A loveliness I don't have any slick pics of mine.

While somewhat similar in concept to the picture that I posted of the woman with the mannequin yesterday (p.1128 #15), the picture below somehow strikes me as less of a cliché, but I'm not really sure.

Agreed and I love reading the write-ups that accompany the wonderful photos as well.

Michael (zhangyue), I love your family photos and your editing style. Your colors and tones are always so perfectly crafted, I don't know how you do it.

I guess I should have done something about big sister bullying her little brother instead of taking pictures, but what would have been the fun in that?

Great shot - she'll love that picture when she's older lil bro? Not so much! Wonderful moment captured well.

I like this shot - what I'd love was if you had a crop with more space to the left and the man/glass case more to frame right. I think that'd be really dynamic.

glow rider - thanks. I was thinking the same thing but was concerned about keeping the "marquee" of the shop. But you're right, and I've cropped the photo the way suggested: you can see the cropped version on post#5 above, which still shows a bit of the marquee.

EDIT 31-Jan-2015: I kept on looking at the picture in Post#5 on this page and concluded that the crop, which placed the man in the center of the frame made the picture more static. I now have gone back to a slight modification of the original. The man is now off-center and I feel the picture has more visual interest, and becomes less static, with the light area restored in the bottom right of the frame.

Keep it up, I'd try and work that to get diagonal lines working as the pic reads right to left and there's plenty in this scene to get that angle to keep the line going- Bangkok is just about my second home. Love to see unique takes.

I listen to TIDAL 90% of the time now. Byrston last forever, monobloc setup? Those Pass amps make Leica seem like a bargain

Last ot post I think I'm good to go too Joe at this pt. The only thing I've bought recently is Amarra Symphony which is phenomenal music player software. I get more use out of photography right now.
