Yes the M8 is still a very good Cam. I really like the files using raw2dng conversion.
Printed to A3+ or even A2 there is almost no difference to my way (MP wise) bigger Sony files.
Due to to much gear the 8 is used rather seldom.
Great pic's of lunch time...i enjoy others street and people shots very much, because it is really not my shooting style....

So far, I'm not missing the extreme ISO capabilities of the Nikon Df. I limited this set to ISO800, f/2, 1/45 (sometimes higher) and it was just enough to get a good exposure without much tweaking needed in post. If I had been shooting with the Df, these shots would look completely different - not as moody. The ISO would have been on auto and likely cranked up, resulting in shots that would have been brighter and not true to the actual scene. The high ISO limits of the M9 forced me to underexpose a bit, which really created better images in the end.
Came home and started playing with kids and saw the hint of color in sky. Looked out, grabbed keys and bag and drove to find the right spot knowing its only gonna be few minutes before the colors are all over. No time for tripod.
