Just stopped for a quick look at what I am missing. Terrific shots all. Far too busy with classes and shooting different cameras including my latest Sony A7s for my 2nd video course. The Monochrome has been sitting unused for a few weeks as I transitioned into my other courses. Though it has been in the bag occasionally it has not lent itself to what I needed for my assignment shooting. It would have been great if the Monochrome had video capabilities. Oh well. Keep up the nice shots all something for me to enjoy every couple of weeks when I pop in.
Hi all again - another 12 pages have gone by since I've been here... that's too long! I am unfortunately on the "slacker" list, as I haven't been very motivated/active for several months now. Think I am emerging though.
The camera felt really nice in my hands today; but seems so have developed quite the dirty sensor while just sitting in a bag. Go figure.
Anyway, the ducks are down south - just ran out to the duck hole with hubby this afternoon to check how many were there.

Very nice and glad to see a new post. I have been so busy and the weather has been keeping me from being motivated as you all can see by my lack of posts. Getting the show ready and work has been keeping all my time tied up but I do plan to get out some this weekend. I have been giving likes on the great stuff you all have been posting. Glad to see everyone else picking up my lazy slack...But thats a good thing becasue this thread is so inspiring. The best thread on FM...

Yes, I signed up to be a beta-tester of this new initiative when Leica first mooted it. By the time I got back from a few weeks' travelling I found that I could not login and they were also charging their beta-testers if they wanted to try the print function!!
I've registered on there now. It will be interesting to have a Leica-unique photo-posting community...other than this august group and the likes of the LUF of course.
...Just attempting an upload of a single photo (already shared on Flickr) - the upload speed is MUCH slower than Flickr . It's just told me that my image is broken and yet it achieved a 100% upload - how Leica-esque!
Yeah I realized quickly that it's very buggy. I think they need some time to make it work properly. It's a nice idea though and there are already plenty of nice photos, but I think they will need to moderate it more closely as there is a lot of crap as well.
Question to M 240 owners. How is high iso banding? Mine has been inconsistent with banding, some days are good, others quite bad. I can't put my finger on the reason, it could be heat, humidity, electrostatic... Etc.
Edward - I see banding at ISO 3200. How noticeable it is depends on the image. But I hardly shoot that high ISO with the M240, so don't have many examples to sample.
Hello Everyone, I got the M240 again and refund for the one I sent back and popflash confirmed the battery was bad and was not holding charge. In addition they said they did find the RF having vertical misalignment which I think was the reason my pictures were off with all of my lenses. Anyways, I am very happy with the one I got now. I have my 75 and 90 back focussing a little on quick tests but my 50lux and 35 cron as fine though not spot on for infinity. 35 lux is arriving tomorrow and will do some more test shots. It was a busy week to so not much shooting other than few of my kids at home. I hope to post some pictures this weekend.
@Ron, its amazing how you can see the patterns and composition in the urban settings where most would be thinking what do I take a picture of here as it appears cluttered everywhere.

Ron, it seems something must be triggering the banding. Even with the same subject, under similar conditions, some days there is banding even at iso 1600, somedays there is no banding even at iso 6400. When I get banding, it stays the whole shoot, consistently. I am trying to see what am I doing exactly when banding occurs. There is a chance it might be one or more of my cards. Out of habit I rotate them systematically, so this could explain why banding occurs on one day but not another. Last time I got banding, I took the camera out of my air-conditioned room, cool and dry air, to the outside, hot and humid. This is possibly another reason of sudden temperature and humidity change causing some electrostatic.
