There is a C-Curtagon 35/2.8 that's an M42 mount, and the PA Curtagon 35/4 that was made in the R mount, but I've never seen a Curtagon 35/1.4 in any mount.
over here I see the (105-280) lingering about on e-bay not getting sold for 4600 $ (3.400 €) and one 280/4 just went for 3780 $ (2820 €) others weren't sold for 5350 $ (4000 €)
a 350/4,8 went for 800 $ (600 €) though, which makes me wonder why this lens is rated so low. They ask for it up to 1.500 $ as well, but no one buys them even for 1000 $.

more supply would be my first guess followed by the obvious fact that it is a pre apo design.

They obviously have not seen sebboh pictures or they would go for a lot more.
Congratulation on the 280/4 phuang3, I am looking forward to seeing a few pic from it ,what sort of camera will you you using it with. I Will also be interesting to see how the 105/280 zoom goes if its the same sort of quality as the 80-200 /4 which has a good report from those that have one. Just a question how do you upload picture here ,I cant seem to see an attach or up load function.
Ouch...I dropped my 35mm summicron on it's face and now the focusing ring is hard to turn.
Can anybody recommend an excellent repair shop in the sf bay area? I've googled already so I see Advance Camera but I wanted to see if anybody had any solid recommendations.

Thanks. I got it today, from an senior wildlife photographer who is now taking bird shots. The 280mm is just not enough for him, I guess. (He uses modular telephotos most of the time...)
Due to the high cost of 280/4 APO, I may have to stick with my old faithful Canon 30D for another year...
