It was around $300, if I remember correctly. DAG may not be the fastest, but he did a good job and he is about the only game in town for Leica R repairs.
I’d really love an r9 for this lens. Or for my Zeiss Ikon to take this lens. They came out with a 50mm RF coupled adapter, but I guess no hope for an 80mm option.

For what it's worth. Am in the long process of trying to go back and keyword and cull my LR catalog, and ran across a photo I had forgotten about, a variation of which I had posted on the prior page here. That one was color digital, and done with the 100mm Macro-Elmarit-r. This one, was done with a Leicaflex SL2, ADOX CMS II, and processed in Adotech III. It almost looks like a monochrome conversion of the digital file. That film and dev certainly works, but is inconvenient enough to use, IMO, that I don't think I have used it since.
