[How do you get the water mark on your prints? Any special software? Wonderful shot!
Thanks. I use photoshop. I create a layer with the transparent water marks and just duplicate them to the photos. It is pretty manual but allows me to choose where to place the water marks. There are some software that does batch processing that will apply the watermarks to the same spot on every photos.
The skin tone is also well captured. The pinkish glow on the boy (with head turned) in the evening sun is exactly what the eye sees. Compare this with the brown skin tone of his brother (right 1). BTW, this big brother is taking very good care of his little sister.
Wonderful pics. So now I need the summicron 35mm and the 90/2.8 Elmarit. With the latter lens is the first version significantly less sharp? I noticed that the ones with a serial starting with a 3 are about $500 which is about twice that of the first version.

Get the last version for the Elmarit 90. I choose it over the Cron 90 for the smaller size as well as the its performance wide open. It is also a more updated design. It also has a closer MFD at 0.7m compared to any lens in this focal length.
+1, ht, it's important to give credit to these images of yours, and that lens in now officially on the wanted list for the future.
I also like that you have shown shots other than flowers in this excellent thread, much appreciated. I was hoping you were using the pre-AA version, as they are (now obviously) good value at around 25% the price of the later one.
got the APO macro and took it for a spin. not 15mn into the shoot, I decided to go pee. I had the camera and lense on a tripod next to my friend, however, one leg wasn't locked. My friend yelled, I looked back and saw it gracefully collapsed (in super slow motion). The lense and camera landed in soft wet grass. Thank goodness the tripod was at its minimum length and it was a cool wet Oregon afternoon
Wiped off the dirt and shot away. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4066/4670690043_2d3c93f206_b.jpg
Whoa, beautiful. How much saturation boosting are you doing?
Thanks zombii, i love saturated colors and i always push to max level of saturation in DPP then sharpen and reduce saturation in PHS as needed. I don't worry much about lost of details because Leica lens does very good color separation.
Ahh, I hate selling lenses. The more I look at these macro shots and the more I shoot my 35/2, I want more leica glass. The 85L II may have to find a new home yet.
