Photo cross posted in the Sony FE Image Thread and taken at 11:16AM about 1 minute before the Kennedy Space Center Space X launch at 11:17 which I observed from my location.
Looking across a canal and reflection; I believe a swimming Pied Billed Grebe can be seen near the far side of the canal just in part of the reflection. Additionally a Common Gallinule caan be seen in the reflection to the left.
Full frame, tripod mounted A7r and Leica R 28mm f2.8 Elmarit V2 lens.

I've been looking for a Leica Elmarit-R 19mm V1 or V2 for quite some time but it seems that the price for these lenses have just gone through the roof to the point where I'm just as good getting either a new Canon with an adapter and using "M" lenses, or moving over to Sony and using an adapter to use "M" lenses. I'm not sure which is better for "M" lenses, but I already have several Canon EF cameras and lenses so I'd rather stay with Canon.
Are there any other stellar wide angle lenses that would fit onto a Canon 5DSR camera, particularly the Leica-R class of lenses? I already have a Leica Elmarit-R 28mm V2 and a Zeiss 25mm for Canon EF lens, as well as their 21mm for EF cameras, which hasn't been as good as the 25mm.
What about any of the wide angle Sigma Art lenses? I have a Sigma 12-24mm F/4 Art lens, but it's so incredibly heavy and cumbersome and the photos have some heavy distortion. Any primes that really give Leica a run for its money (since they make lenses for Leica)? Any other lenses?
Thanks.
