Yes, will get a RRS plate for the tripod foot.
Will try the Novoflex adapter first before going Letax route as I want to use it with Leica 2x extender.
Question: Do all APO Telyt 280/4's work with 1.4 Leica extender or is it like the APO 180/2.8 where only later serial #'s do?
How is the IQ with the extenders?
Do Novoflex adapters develop any ight play after awhile like my Fotodiox pro did?
All Leica APO-TELYT-R 280/4 work with both Leica Apo-Extender-R 1.4x and 2x. Besides, Leica Apo-Extender-R(s) are excellent (unlike Canon's for example...). But for the 2x, to bring the objective lens in focus must not be easy.
Prefer using Novoflex adapter if you want to use it with or without Leica Apo-Extender-R(s) ...A good choice indeed.
Some beautiful shots on the previous page.
Ocean2059: Lovely shots of the cafe. Very natural colours. Lovely shots with the 80lux as well
David: Nice shots of the whales. And the mountains too.
2. All taken during our camping/hiking trip in Ladakh, India. Day time temps were around -12 to -15 and night time temps were around -35. Quite fun with diesel freezing in the tank and all. Added a film preset in post. Leh, India by Manoj Prabhu, on Flickr
2. Nice fellow. I found out from our driver that this guy keeps his eatery regularly open, especially on the days with bad weather so that people passing that area have something to eat and get warm. Everything around him would be closed. The shot above of the dog was outside his eatery in the morning. Punjabi Dhaba, Ladakh, India by Manoj Prabhu, on Flickr
I am a regular user over at mu-43.com. Thus I shoot with m4/3 cameras, mostly an Olympus E-M10, but also an E-M5.
I also have three Leica R lenses that I very much enjoy adapted to my Olympus cameras. They are the Elmarit 28 2.8, Summicron 50 2 and Macro-Elmar 100 4. I coming over here to find others using Leica R lenses on m4/3 or any camera system.
