Looking from Schooner Head overlook at Egg Rock (Island) and Egg Rock Light (and appurtenant buildings and structures) and the Maine mainland. Egg Rock Lighthouse is outside of Acadia NP, is about 2 miles from Mount Desert Island and sits at the mouth of Frenchman Bay.

Thanks for the terrific images, great compositions, light, and colors.
In my experience the Leica Summilux-R 80/1.4 turns into a great landscape camera one stopped down to f/4 or f/5.6. Nice touch, the moon in the first image.

K-H, thank you very much for your kind words. I am in San Francisco for work this week and have opportunities for early morning walk around Marina area. The weather here is wonderful all week.
I agree with you about your comments of the Summilux-R 80mm lens. At f1.4 and f2.0, it's really a very unique portrait lens as many demonstrated in this forum. But it's also an excellent short-tele lens when you step down to f4 - f8, beautiful Leica color rendition and 'gentle' sharpness.
Or, just use the "Hide Me" button. This was a new record for me for fewest posts to FM generating that response. Life is too short for bothering to engage trolls.
Just bought a nice R 280/4 APO Telyt and need to get a new adapter for it. Probably Novoflex. I have a Fotodiox Pro which i used on my 180/2.8 APO before i Leitaxed it and it has a slight play mounted, not solid like the Leitax. Any recommendations?
I have used both Fotodiox and Novoflex for Sony EF mount. They all some small amount of play. The best is to convert the mount. I converted my Summicron-R 35mm using Leitax and it's is perfect. But I hate to do that to the APO-Telyt-R 280mm.

If you go the adapter route, I would highly recommend Novoflex. And, of course, treat the camera as being attached to the lens, as far as weight handling goes.
Leitax is also an option depending on your destination mount.
I wouldn't go with cheaper adapters, as the risk of warping/bending/worse is too high. If you've spent the money on the lens, and, presumably, on a decent camera body that'll put the glass to a good use, you can afford a couple hundred for a solid adapter or mount change kit.
