I haven't changed mine however. I do have trouble with some lenses. Especially wides where the subject is smaller, or lenses with less subject isolation, or lenses with SA or less sharpness. My eyes aren't great. But with the 180/2 I have no problems whatsoever.
It's also the rare lens that has too much focus throw instead of too little, in my opinion.

Never owned a Nikon, but I think most stock focusing screen is brighter on AF bodies which means less contrast on focus plane (harder to get focused). I have Eg-s screen and still have trouble with 180 Summicron. I miss the stock screen of my old 30D. It's the best for MF.
Here are a few images I took today with my new (to me) Leica R lenses. I was using the Techart Pro adapter and a Sony A7RII. The first four were with the Leica R 28mm Version II, and the last one with the Leica R 80mm Summilux.
