The lens is going to cost you a fair amount in all likelihood unless you are fortunate to find it for a relatively small amount of money. The lens is an extremely fine performer with a high demand in a rather small supply.
I own the lesser model, although I'm still willing to try out on my M8 with an R-M adapter. I have used it on a 1D Mk III, a Pana G3 (briefly), a NEX5N and my current 5D Mk III (the latter less so, as I now own a Contax N 24-85).

Supply and demand; there are not many of them floating around, and each time you come across one in a decent shape, it usually costs $100 more than you saw few months ago.
