..anyway, pic from me. Same stuff as always. But Im okay with this one. Not so happy with Tumblr compressing files tho, at least its not crazy Instagram level of compression.
Oh well, I am not eligible yet to attend this thread which features great pics which I suppose being taken by skilled photographers but I add my contribution while waiting for my 35 and 85 in the f1.4 flavour to be back and then to get a ML body to mount them on and give them a breath of life.

I have been using a CZ 35-70 on my A7R2 for a couple of years, so I decided to jump for a Contax 159mm for a bit of film fun. Got my first roll developed, it was exciting to go shooting with it. Cross post to the alt images thread.
I drive by these spots all the time. I really like the first shot. Hope you posted to the film thread as well.
Fantastic image and interesting usage of filters. I am interested in usage of filters with landscape. To learn, may I ask how do you decided to use it? I mean, you observe the light? Or how did it came to you to use the filter? Thanks in advance!

Thanks! The filter was a bit of an accidental necessity. I'd been making some test shots with it in the house, when I saw the sunset outside would make a nice photo. Since the light can change so fast here, I decided to just leave the filter on. I didn't do a shot without the filter to compare, but it likely reduced the contrast of the image and opened up the shadows a bit. Sharpness was probably softened slightly.
