These two show moderate 10 lpmm lines (in MTF) but high (enough) 40 lpmm, 90% and 60% respectively. This is at best IQ shooting apertures - f5.6-f8.
You can often see a 'dreamy' overall contrast, if you are used to the later or 'sharper' CY/ZE-F lenses, and sebboh, I think it's very Minolta-like - so it's no surprise you like these. Digital processing has done much for these kinds of lenses.
Sometimes the uber-contrast look can impede the eye entering the picture...it seems also these 'two of a pair' lenses can hold a lot of green saturation without seeming overdone, I saw this very thing last night with a 35-70 image. Nice, flashinm.
bluetsunami, how about those 'road line marking bokeh rings', hah.

Thanks guys. These were all taken over the summer and I have sold both of those lenses now in favor of primes, although I'm not real sure why. At any rate I've almost decided to ditch my FF kit in favor of NEX.
I'm expecting a 20 X 30 canvas print of the shot with the cypress trees/moss any day now.
Hey guys... Just won my first piece of CZ glass on eBay the other day. C/Y 50/1.7 and I noticed that there wasn't a whole ton of samples here. At least in the last 20 pages... lol
Does anyone have some from Canon 5D/1Ds and the 50/1.7?
I'm looking forward to having a good quality normal MF prime. Had to sell my Mir-1V as it just wasn't "normal" enough on the FF body.
