Peire: I am truly chuffed! There is just one problem - I can't seem to be able to take the lens out of the box...I suppose I am a little scared of it..

I think I can understand what you're feeling.Would probably behave the same way exactly.BTW:is it MM or AE? I envy you in both cases,Dmitri
Peire: It's MM. Not sure Japan or Germany though.
I am always like that - I can't really touch any thing of this kind of importance for few days, and keep walking around it like a cat...
Btw, great train shots! Love the reds in contrast to the darker blues...
One of the alt lenses I bought yeaterday was Yashica 24/2.8.I was hesitating whether to take it or not, because it had too much paints off for my taste, but optics and mechanics were perfect,so when the seller offered 85 euro I agreeded.
After a quick shootout I found it to be a decent lens, comparable to Oly 24/2.8 (a tad less sharp in the corners).A bit dreamy wide opened, but sharpens up nicely stopped down to f5.6.Colour rendition zeiss- like but without Zeiss microcontrast (almost -some traces of it can be seen on the sample no 3).All in all a very good piece of glass and I'll keep it.
I don't know if this is a butterfly, or a moth.
It looked more like a moth than a butterfly.
I couldn't get too close to it, I lucked out by getting this before it flew away.
This is a huge crop BTW.
