Nikon D700 + 24mm 1.4 @ 1.4 @ ISO 800 @ 1/320s in RAW.
Shot wide open, handheld, no flash.
Although spinning speed was about 12 rpm! autofocus was doing reasonably well, though for such an action at night it's not quite enough.
I'll join in... I rented this lens back in May and loved it. It's not the easiest lens to use but the when done right, the results are amazing. I don't know if I could justify actually buying it but it but it's hard to resist not to, especially after seeing a lot of pictures on this forum.
I'm torn right now between buying the 24-70mm or the 24mm (and hopefully someday a 50mm f/1.2G). The only lenses I currently have are a 17-35mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8 and the 70-300mm VR. I recently sold my 85mm f/1.4D. Any thoughts?
Erik Moore, great shots! you have a beutiful girls....
babiMETE, nice.. I love use this lens for familiy shots.
rsolti13, get use and use very well...
Chromosome 6, nice street shots, I should use more here in china.
JPopovich, you sold 85mm f1.4D this also amazing lens... nice shots.
very nice guys!! This lens is amazing.... together 35mm f1.4G and 85mm f1.4G its really the "truth holy trinity' humm... 50mm f1.2G will be very nice... I much prefer 24mm, 50mm and 85mm.
IMHO this is the best one so far out of all those shared here. Two thumbs UP. After having seen all other samples posted here, I know I will get 24mm PC-E instead.

Ok, this one isn't wide open, but is still one of my faves... awesome work by everyone in this thread btw
Ryan, some incredible images on this page you've got. You seem to be drawing some amazing contrast out of this lens... almost a Zeiss like feel to it. Not sure if you are doing some post work that emphasizes it, but it looks great. Love the nail on the board and the water faucet shots. Great stuff.
