Everyone has their reasons for or against this lens and it's definitely not a lens for everyone. I for one see the benefits and value of it for shooting weddings

The lens I would keep would be a 35mm 1.4 AF
the 24 for the type of photography that I like would not help me at all
I do mostly candid shots inside bars and cafes in spain and for that the 35mm1.4AF
would be just perfect.
I am now using the 58mm 1.2 but it is not AF and not easy to focus
the regular 50mm1.4 works fine also
Today I took the 24mm back to B&H so at least they have one now....!
