Mike, the N glass multi-coating produces higher contrast that the earlier versions. I suspect that it's also better at resisting flare, but I haven't tested this (yet). Jim.

Thanks, Jim. BTW...I noticed that the connection between my 45/2.8 and the Fotodiox Pro adapter is a bit "loose". Is there a way to tighten this up a bit? There are three "springs" equally spaced around the inside of the adapter...bent them down a bit but that didn't help. The lens won't fall off, just flops a bit when I change the camera position (much like an annoying "zoom creep"). Any recommendations to a fix, or is it the nature of the beast?

Strange my front heavy 200/2.8 fits real tight on my my fotodiox pro adapter.
Had some time to get in a few test shots in the backyard. Not the best time of day for light, but you take what you can get. Lens was the 45/2.8C on a 5D2. Wide open, there is a bit of fringing against a bright backdrop, but this disappears when stopping down slightly. My subject wasn't as interesting as some of the others in this thread, but it had to do until I can free up some time for something more 'artistic'. Focus was on the center, bulbous portion of the planter (sorry for the number of pics). Hand-held, which would account for the variation in POV between the overall views.
First, a few 100% crops wide open (converted from RAW, no adjustments other than re-size):
Yes...the crops were all taken wide open at 2.8 I'm pleasantly surprised at the performance of this lens as far as sharpness and color goes. Next up, I'll give the 80/1.9 a spin as well as the 75-150/4.5 zoom. Hopefully, I'll find some more interesting subject matter.
I've got three brand-new RB67 lenses sitting in the studio waiting for a 5D2 to arrive (for the LiveView & hi-res LCD), a 65mm KL, 127mm KL, and 210mm KL APO. (And a used but nice 120mm f/4 M645 for macro.) Building my own "adapter", picked up a mill and lathe but need to finish wiring the phase converter...

+1 Very well made adapters. You might pay a bit more for them but no problems with them from the get go.

I can't quite agree with this. They may be pretty good adapters but their service sucks. I ordered one on Ebay and requested an invoice for Priority Mail shipping since they didn't have a drop down option like most dealers who offer shipping options. I wanted faster shipping because I needed the adapter three days after I ordered it. Not a problem with Priority Mail. Well, it took them until the next day to send an invoice. I paid it as soon as I got it and then sent an email requesting that they ship it that day. No response to the email and they didn't get it shipped for another day and then sent it by First Class instead of Priority Mail. Oh, but they charged me for Priority Mail. I've sent them two more emails telling them how unhappy I am with their slop service. I'm going to give them negative feedback too unless they do something to make it right which doesn't seem likely since they can't even answer an email. My advice is, good adapters or not, if you need it in a hurry, buy from somebody who actually cares about your business.
I am a little bit confused though.
Is it only the 645 lenses that will work ? I know nothing about Mamiya, and searching the net I found different "versions" . Mimaya 7, 645 AFD, 645 AF, RB 67 etc..
Which lenses will work with the adapter on my 5d MKii ?
Will any of these work :
-Mamiya-Sekor C 150mm f:4
-Mamiya-Sekor Zomm C 55-110mm f:4.5
-Mamiya-Sekor SF C 145mm f 4
-Mamiya-Sekor C 80mm f:1.9
-Mamiya-Sekor C 45mm f:2.8
