So many photos, SO many... but they look great, as usual...Oh and by the way, thanks again for paying for my buffet @ WPPI, AND for dealing with what ever the hell the buffet people help you up for, for about a half hour
Damn man, you're my new hero. Seriously - wow! This is some of the best work I've ever seen from you or anyone else here. I'm saving this thread for inspiration.
you are so darn gifted...and hey someone just said that - now dont just let that all go to your head...love the couple with the balloons...making good use of a prop that could look really cheesy. especially love the first shot of candace...she's too cute and what great eyes! would love to get in on that workshop....wont happen this time for me, but would really love too!!
but i have to go against the majority here. many of these feel very "forced"
#90 i can almost hear the direction...."okay guys, take a big drag of the smoke, let it just drift out of your month and look at me"
#75 i like it but i wish the street was horizontally flat and the trees were right to the top of the image.
#58 they both look stiff and uncomfortable. he almost looks like he is in pain.
#46 love the framing..awesome shot. but again he looks uncomfortable but the framing on this image almost become "the" image
#36 why? sorry i don't get it. same image split in two just for the blog..?
#31 love it. a real smile. genuinely happy. well done.
balloon set...i really like. great connection between the couple.
#12 i think i have seen this image somewhere from another photographer... it is way too similar to the other photographer. i appreciate liking a shot, but since Tony did this image a while back and did it so FRIGGIN amazing, everything else..to me...is a copy and doesn't come close...sorry dude.
anyway Sam you have some good images here, but what lacks for me..again personal opinion....is honesty in the couples interaction. i understand some have a better connection then others, but that is what pushes us to get better. every couple has a "honest" connection that we can capture and it's our job to get it.
again many see these as amazing and inspirational and yes there are some great images here, but i just wanted to share my thoughts....my $0.01
